Two NYSE-listed international companies, Flutter Entertainment and Wipro, are making Arbor their new headquarters.
Flutter Entertainment, the world’s largest online sports betting and iGaming operator, has signed a 10-year deal for 22,500 sq ft. Wipro, the multinational technology and IT consulting company headquartered in Bengaluru, India, has taken a 15-year lease on 24,500 sq ft over the top floors of the building, which offer exceptional views over central London and along the River Thames.
They will join a community of occupiers that includes FTSE 100-listed Industrial Technology company Smiths Group, leading law firm Winckworth Sherwood and global climate consultancy, The Carbon Trust.
The moves will transform the convenience and amenity offer available to both companies, delivering them the advantages of Bankside’s unparalleled cultural and leisure offer, and outstanding transport connectivity.
Mark Mercer, Director of Corporate Real Estate and Workspace at Flutter Entertainment, said:
“Flutter has been on an extraordinary journey in recent years, which has seen us substantially grow our global scale and presence, while adding world-class talent to the Group. Our move to the modern, sustainable and people-focused Arbor building is very much in keeping with this transition. We look forward to introducing our colleagues to the amazing space, its amenities and the surrounding area very soon, all part of a broader commitment to help and empower our employees to work better.”
Chevalier Mario A. Libonati, Head of Operations Europe at Wipro, said:
“Arbor stands out as an exceptional building in a prime location, renowned internationally as a centre for both business and culture. Its proximity to convenient transport links to London’s airports further enhances its appeal as an ideal location for a global enterprise like Wipro. We are committed to fostering an inspiring workplace environment and promoting work-life balance, as these are central to our goal of being among the top employers in the UK. We value our workforce immensely and are thrilled to provide them with a workspace they can take pride in.”
Designed by PLP Architecture, the 223,000 sqft next-generation workspace is now more than 65% let to global occupiers, achieving record rents for the South Bank. The remaining 70,000 sq ft block of contiguous space is available through Arbor’s leasing agents, Knight Frank and Ingleby Trice.
